One of the key components of the car air conditioner unit is called the evaporator. This component gets very cold when car aircon is operated thus when air is blown through the evaporator fins this can cause the air that comes out the aircon vent becomes cold. When the surrounding is hot and humid, a condensation occurs on the evaporator which resulted to moisture that drops into the drain pan of the aircon unit which then drained down onto the street through a drain hose. Now, if this drain hose is clogged or if there is clogged somewhere the drain pan will not be draining and the moisture will get trapped. This can cause a growth of algae –like organism on the system thus causing the mildew smell car air conditioner problem occurrence.
